About the exam

- Valid nursing registration.
- At least 3 years of recent hospital experience, preferably in acute inpatient care.
How to apply
Kuwait MOH- 1Get a job offer from a Kuwait MOH hospital or a licensed private facility. Licensing in Kuwait is employer-led: the employer usually starts the application.
- 2Arrange Primary Source Verification (PSV) of your degree, licence and experience through DataFlow.
- 3Get your documents attested as required (Kuwait embassy / Ministry of Foreign Affairs): degree, transcripts, licence/registration, experience letters, Certificate of Good Standing, passport and photos.
- 4The employer submits the application to the MOH licensing department (medlic.moh.gov.kw). MOH checks the file and confirms your eligibility for the exam.
- 5Book and sit the Kuwait MOH exam at a Prometric centre.
- 6After passing (and an interview, for some senior posts), MOH approves the licence. Medical fitness, security clearance and civil ID complete the process.

Frequently asked questions
About our mock testsAre the Kuwait MOH Registered Nurse Licensing Examination mock tests free?
Mock Test 1 is free. Create a free account with your email or Google, then press Start mock test on this page. No payment or card is needed, and you can take it as many times as you like.
Mock Test 2 is part of the paid test series for this exam, so it shows a lock for now. When a package is available it is listed under Packages on this page, and the locked test opens as soon as you buy it.
How many questions are in the mock test, and how long does it take?
Each of the two mock tests has 20 multiple-choice questions and a 25-minute timer (40 practice questions in all). That gives you about 1¼ minutes per question.
Every correct answer scores 1 mark and there is no negative marking, so it is always worth answering. You can mark questions for review and jump between them with the question palette. The test submits itself when the timer reaches zero, and if the page reloads your answers are kept on that device.
How is the mock test different from the real Kuwait MOH exam?
The real Kuwait MOH exam is a computer-based multiple-choice exam in English at a Prometric centre. The number of questions and the time differ by profession (the nursing exam, for example, is reported as about 150 questions in under 3 hours), and the pass mark is usually around 60%.
Our mock test is a shorter practice set of 20 questions in 25 minutes, so you can do it in one sitting and practise answering at a steady pace.
All questions are original. We write them from standard textbooks and the published exam content; they are not leaked or recalled exam questions. A short test cannot predict your real result, so use your score to find the areas you need to revise.
Which syllabus topics do the mock questions cover?
The questions follow the Kuwait MOH Registered Nurse Licensing Examination syllabus on this page, which has nine sections:
- Fundamentals of nursing
- Medical–surgical nursing
- Critical and emergency care
- Maternal and newborn nursing
- Paediatric nursing
- Mental health nursing
- Pharmacology and medication safety
- and two more (see the syllabus)
Kuwait MOH does not publish section weights for this exam, so the syllabus is a topic guide.
Each question is labelled with a topic (for example Fundamentals, Medication safety and Respiratory), and after each test your dashboard shows your strong and weak topics. A 20-question test cannot cover every section, so use the syllabus to plan the rest of your revision.
Can I see the correct answers and explanations, and retake the test?
Yes. As soon as you submit, you see your score and accuracy, then every question with the correct answer marked and a short explanation. You can filter the list to show only the questions you got wrong or left unanswered.
You can retake the test as often as you like. Your dashboard keeps your past scores so you can follow your progress, and if you set this as your target exam with your exam date, it shows a countdown and daily study goals.
