Each of the three mock tests has 20 multiple-choice questions and a 25-minute timer (60 practice questions in all). That gives you about 1¼ minutes per question.

Every correct answer scores 1 mark and there is no negative marking, so it is always worth answering. You can mark questions for review and jump between them with the question palette. The test submits itself when the timer reaches zero, and if the page reloads your answers are kept on that device.

The real OMSB exam for this profession is a much longer computer-based multiple-choice exam taken at a Prometric test centre. The number of questions and the time depend on your profession, so check the current candidate booklet on omsb.gov.om.

Our mock test is a shorter practice set of 20 questions in 25 minutes, so you can do it in one sitting and practise answering at a steady pace.

Each question is labelled with a topic (for example Haematology, Microbiology and Phlebotomy), and after each test your dashboard shows your strong and weak topics. A 20-question test cannot cover every section, so use the syllabus to plan the rest of your revision.
