Frequently asked questions
About our mock testsAre the NHRA Bahrain Midwife Licensing Examination mock tests free?
Mock Test 1 is free. Create a free account with your email or Google, then press Start mock test on this page. No payment or card is needed, and you can take it as many times as you like.
Mock Test 2 is part of the paid test series for this exam, so it shows a lock for now. When a package is available it is listed under Packages on this page, and the locked test opens as soon as you buy it.
How many questions are in the mock test, and how long does it take?
Each of the two mock tests has 20 multiple-choice questions and a 25-minute timer (40 practice questions in all). That gives you about 1ΒΌ minutes per question.
Every correct answer scores 1 mark and there is no negative marking, so it is always worth answering. You can mark questions for review and jump between them with the question palette. The test submits itself when the timer reaches zero, and if the page reloads your answers are kept on that device.
How is the mock test different from the real NHRA exam?
The real NHRA exam is a computer-based multiple-choice exam at a Prometric centre, with about 2Β½ hours of exam time in a 3-hour appointment. The pass mark is 60%.
Our mock test is a shorter practice set of 20 questions in 25 minutes, so you can do it in one sitting and practise answering at a steady pace.
All questions are original. We write them from standard textbooks and the published exam content; they are not leaked or recalled exam questions. A short test cannot predict your real result, so use your score to find the areas you need to revise.
Which syllabus topics do the mock questions cover?
The questions follow the NHRA Bahrain Midwife Licensing Examination syllabus on this page, which has seven sections:
- Antenatal care
- Medical conditions in pregnancy
- Labour and birth
- Obstetric emergencies
- Postnatal care
- Breastfeeding and newborn care
- Professional practice
NHRA does not publish section weights for this exam, so the syllabus is a topic guide.
Each question is labelled with a topic (for example Labour, Antenatal care and Obstetric emergencies), and after each test your dashboard shows your strong and weak topics. A 20-question test cannot cover every section, so use the syllabus to plan the rest of your revision.
Can I see the correct answers and explanations, and retake the test?
Yes. As soon as you submit, you see your score and accuracy, then every question with the correct answer marked and a short explanation. You can filter the list to show only the questions you got wrong or left unanswered.
You can retake the test as often as you like. Your dashboard keeps your past scores so you can follow your progress, and if you set this as your target exam with your exam date, it shows a countdown and daily study goals.
